Dicing with deadlines!

Months ago I signed up for the fourth round of the

The deadline for sending out the blocks for this round is April 15th. Needless to say I have left making my blocks until the last minute!

As ever the requests for the blocks are a great test of my stash. This quarter the requests included

STAWRd4Hive1

Jewel tones,

STAWRd4Hive1block3

Bright, bold saturated colours

STAWRd4Hive1block2

and bright, happy colours!

I hope these hit the mark :)

Can't wait to see what wings my way too. I think with one more round, which signs up on May 1st, I will have enough to make a quilt!

  3. Despite my best intentions I always find that I end up doing a lot of my deadline sewing at the last minute. Thankfully though never really stresses me, if anything it makes me more focussed and I always manage to get what I plan done.

  5. It would be fun to exchange blocks for quilts like this so you'd get a great mix of things you don't have. Love it :)

  10. Lovely blocks - I particularly like the jewel tones. I imagine this is an exercise of thinking outside your comfort zone by using colours you wouldn't normally consider together.

  11. Lucky Bee girls .... and your little Scrappy blocks coming back to you in the reds and blues are beautiful. I missed out on the Scrappy Trip Block buzz the first time around. Hope to get to a Scrappy trip quilt started soon. I think they are delightful! I Love Bonnie Hunter! Stitch a stitch for me.... I'll have to live through your Scrappy Trips for a while. janita

  12. I tend to leave things to the last minute too. I guess I like working under pressure. Your blocks turned out beautiful and totally meet the requested colors. I particularly like the one with the jewel tones.
